A VERY stupid question I'm sure...

Ok well I just got my thermalright sp-94 with a 92 mm enermax that's supposed to push 60-65 cfm. I'm idling at about 40-42 C which I know is fine...but I used to get 35-38 with the stock cooler. Of course this was on a different motherboard, so who knows how accurate it is.

On to my question...I've never used a heatsink that required isntalling your own fan. Should the fan be blowing the air onto the heatsink or away from the heatsink?

yeah blow it on, but you should also check that you cleaned off all the thermal grease (if you had any on there) and applied new stuff. but yeah, definitely blow it on the cpu.
