I want to start a guild with you guys when august 27th rolls around. I will be main tank I'm not sure who played the game back in the day..but I am a damn good warrior tank and will carry you guys. Just let me know if you are interested. I did all of vanilla up until 4 horsemen.

I dabbled a little in WoW. Some of my buddies played it pretty hardcore. I was never quite that good at it.
now is the time to try again. thats the best part of wow..its all about the leveling and dabbling when you get there. I'm not talking about that shit show that is retail wow of course.

ima take those little nails and hammer these rose tinted goggles on my forehead...drive those nails deep into my skull and keep those goggles on.

watch my old vid on ragnaros kill. I'm the warrior in the middle of the rogues..got my valor shoulders and og obsiian edged blade.

I play games hardcore or I don't play at all. I quit WoW Cold turkey in college and I'm soooooooo fucking glad I did. Sold my account to some dude in China for $1,100. I was the most geared hunter on my server.

Shit is crack cocaine to me.

That's why the only games I will ever play anymore are ones that end (e.g. DOTA).

I don't know... I think that I should keep my level 62 Paladin retired. I played that game waaaay too much back then... I think that I wasted 90% of the free time over a 6 month period playing that game.

I have watched a few streams of classic the past couple of days, brings back memories and makes me want to play again, but I don't have time anymore, I get maybe 1 hour to game a day if I am lucky.

I used to camp noob groups hunting world bosses. I would kill their healer and then vanish and run away. (Rogue)

But yeah i don't have time anymore.

I was an epic rogue at one point. Logged in one day and someone hacked my account and sold all of my stuff. The mods wouldn't restore anything, so I quit.

I was super into UO around the time WoW got super popular, I tried it for a bit, but didn't really want to get into another MMO then never played it again.

I had a tank character on the UO server I played on, it was a hilarious template but it actually worked decently. Was a necromancer paladin, and also had bard skills.

Then I started my own server and got super into that, then slowly lost interest. The server still runs but it's pretty much dead now.

Never really got into WOW although I did play for awhile.... I have an extremely low tolerance for grinding and thus avoid most MMO's.

Did the same with Star Wars Galaxies. In that game you could create macros and store fronts so you could leave your character logged in spamming advertisements for you store and then re-sell holycrons(sp?)/crafting materials for a profit without having to do much yourself. My buddy and I made around 5k on that game before ebay started banning our accounts and we moved on. Not much money now, but when I was a teenager it seemed pretty awesome.

Only MMO I ever played for more then a few months and one of the very few it was actually fun to "solo" on.

It was definitely a game that has never been replicated. Unfortunately it was full of bugs, but the scope of their ambition was amazing. The fact that there was real estate and a complex economy was something that may not be recreated for a long time. The game was a capitalists dream. I think now games have to be oversimplified in order to emphasize server up-time, balance and security to try and emulate WOW.

I used to have 2 accounts for SWG. I made the 2nd account a squad leader to give me buffs. Infinite sprint, anti knockdown, anti poison, and anti dizzy. I was virtually indestructible and pwned Jedi with ease. I even had one of the most powerful guilds chase me around Theed for 45 minutes. Every time they chased me with vehicles, i would destroy them. I was on their teamspeak, and could hear them cussing, who the fuck is this guy...and barking orders to each other. They eventually gave up. Lol

Ahhh that was an epic day. Epic game.
