A very sad day

I'm a student at the Indiana University School of Music. This is a terribly sad day for us. I knew two of the people killed very well-in fact I had spent a great deal of time with both of them just yesterday. I'm still in shock. They were coming back from a rehearsal in Lafayette, for what i dont know.

Absolutely awful news. 🙁

🙁 that really sucks, sorry to hear 🙁

I had a friend just graduate from there a year or so ago.

A pilots worst nightmare is losing an engin (espically in a single) in the dark over hostile terrain...nothing to aim for but black. I don't fly singles at night often.

Sorry to hear about that.

That sucks...why didn't they just drive though? Seems a rather short trip to fly.

Who knows. Everyone's asking why they decided to "go for it" in obviously bad weather (it was nothing new, the fog was horrible all night). I wish I knew. 🙁
