a very quick norton ghost question

hi please help me with this one question. 1 drive has 3 partitions. I call them a,b,c.

i ghost the first 2(a,b) and save it in the third(c).

when i restore, do i restore each partition independently? (first a to a, then b to b.) or can i choose the whole drive as the source and destination and it will not affect C at all?

please help.... 😱

How did you ghost the partitions orginally? Did you do ghost each partition separately or selected both partitions and ghosted at one time?

make sure you choose ... from IMAGE TO PARITION. Do NOT choose to DRIVE, you will rewrite your entire drive. And have to make paritions all over again.

It won't let you make that mistake when restoring. If you could do that, you would be simultaneously reading an image from the same drive you are writing to. It won't let you do that.
