I'm sure Trump is just so busy with handling coronavirus that he can't possibly partake in a presidential tradition. Or maybe it's that his predecessor is clearly a criminal but there's no evidence whatsoever 🙄🙄

Trump's portrait will need to be one that truly reflects the ugliness of his personality. Day-glo orange for his skin tone?

Just saves it for Biden to honour Obama. And he can also host Trumpity Dumpity. He’ll get dragged in an orange jumpsuit and shackles.

I think Obama also said he doesn't want to do this while Trump is in the WH. Can't say I blame him.

He did, came here to post this.
Deplorable friend of mine was going on a huge rant about it. He’s seen Children behave better.
I had hope.......
Until he said Obama should man up and show up to the unveiling.

While I’ll admit this is a it takes two type moment, it really isn’t unreasonable for Obama to turn down the invite.

Trump believes that Obama isn't even an American. Does your dumbass friend understand that and accept that Obama has every right to turn down the invitation of a treasonous quisling like Trump, elected by virtue of a system that exists only to make slavery relevant?

I don't know...what do we honestly call Trump--the Stewerd? he's no fucking president, that's for sure. It's like he's just holding the seat until a proper...uh, anyone else shows up to restore order. Fuck, I'd even take a piece of shit like Guiliani. That is hard to stomach, but I think I mean it. :D

I knew him not blaming Obama was impossible. I was hoping he would #bothsides it.

It's definitely better this way. Do we really need another confused, rambling speech about troops with no ammunition, plentiful yet depleted pandemic supplies, Hillary's E-mails, illegal mail voting, attempted Deep State coups and the Best-Attended Inaugural of All Time?

Actually I truly think this is good news because now the next President can completely skip President Trump.

no, Trump needs a presidential portrait.

some solid options

Obama will have his portrait put up properly. When it's time for Trump to be portrayed I suggest it be hung in effigy.

I for one prefer the Tan Suit Obama portrait—with its hints of Dijon brown—to the official “I’m stuck in a hedge!” portrait.

Apparently Trump refuses to unveil this one because he’s afraid of those big hands. He should be more worried about Biden’s non-pardoning hands sneaking up behind him though.

Because Trump is thin skinned.

Conservatives have fulfilled every single accusation they tossed at liberals; traitors, thin skinned, abuse of power, corruption, incompetence, etc.

I hope, for legitimate conservatism, the Right can reinvent itself. I believe in fiscal responsibility, freedom and defending our country. But, everything that conservatives have done is only in name - not in action. Their actions contradict everything they claimed they stood for.

And, I mean reinvent. The reimaging they kicked off (Tea Party, Libertarian, Nazis, etc.) has just made their ugliness more apparent.

We already have a center-right political party in the US. It's called the Democratic party.

The current Republican party has to fully die out. Perhaps become a regional party. Then the actual leftists can form a left-wing party, leaving sane centrists to elect centrist Democrats to attempt to hold a functional but inefficient status quo (neoliberalist Empire).

The modern Republican party is as useful in a functioning Democracy as other dead political parties of the past were when they died. It is thoroughly authoritarian and itching to stomp on people who it doesn't identify with. It is not able to govern. Just look at the last 40 years, all it can accomplish is tax cuts for the already rich and powerful, and war (which enriches the already rich and powerful).

That’s not the official White House portrait either, That’s the national gallery portrait at the Smithsonian. That picture was never slated to be the official White House Portrait.

He should borrow his balls from Michelle and actually go to the unveiling. Obutthole should pull up his big girl panties and agree to go to the ceremony.
