For some stupid reason, I watched bits of this 1988 classic: A Very Brady Christmas. All the kids are grown up and are coming home for the holiday.
Let's see:
Girl's problems:
Marcia's husband lost his job
Jan is getting a divorce
Cindy feels like a baby still
Boys:
Greg's wife wanted to be with her family so she didn't come
Peter is in love with a feminist
Bobby uh, missed his problem
Alice had a fight with Sam.
Mr. Brady is gay (opps wrong show)
In the end, Marcia's husband gets a job from one of Mr. Brady's neighbor, Jan reconciles, Cindy feels important, Peter and his girl propose marriage to each other, Gregs wife flies in and Alice gets Sam back. All this happens at the Christmas table.
Meanwhile, Mr Brady gets a call and has to go to a construction site. There is a collapse and gets trapped. The whole gang rushed down to the site and sings "O Come O Ye Faithful" led by Mrs. Brady. Mr Brady hears the tune, wakes up and makes his way out of the damaged building. BTW, the building was on 34th St.
What a beautiful show. Brought tears to my eyes.
