So, if wjsulliv suggests us to return the Palm m100
to Circuit City, why we bother to do so?
Why we do not return the Palm m100 and Maxtor HD to Compusa and
get the $130 rebate at the same time since the rebate only
require &quot; Copy of UPC&quot;?

So, here is my question:
Do you guys think the rebate processing center will check the
order status with the store, to check if it's returned?

If they check it's returned, how they honor the rebate even we
can send the UPC?

I am confused. Is any one very familiar with Rebate Processing
Center?

Ok, looks like this belongs in the How do I thread. Dont post questions here.

And to answer your question, YES, CC will check the transaction ID number on the reciept. What you are describing (buying something, sending in the rebate, and returning the item) is FRAUD.

Both suggestions are fraud, and a felony. I suggest deleting your port and changing the subject to Delete Please!

Why not just rob a bank. Much more money in a shorter period of time.

I just wonder because that guy sugguest us to do so.
Since I am new to rebate stuff, I have no idea why
we can get rebate from CC by returning the Palm.

An honest way to do what you're thinking is buy the stuff, send in the for the rebates, then sell the products on ebay or to someone who wants them as used or opened without UPC.

Why so so many people do stupid things like this? I can't go one day without seeing two or three posts that anyone should know can't be posted here.
