Out of all of my friends from grade school, I know these two guys Bill and Ted the best. Since he was very young, Bill has had diabetes, forcing him to have to take shots of insulin every night. In case you didn't know, this means that his pancreas does not produce the amount of insulin needed for his body to process its own glucose.
Our relationship as friends has always included a lot of casual insults, the kinds you can make to close friends without feeling too much guilt. For a long time, Ted has made fun of Bill's diabetes, referencing his "lazy pancreas" as well as other comments of that sort. Although I'm slightly ashamed to say that I've joined in a few times, Ted really instigated it almost all of the time.
Yesterday, Ted got back from the doctor's. There's a very high possibility that he has hypoglycemia, which, in short, means that his pancreas is producing too much insulin, the opposite of the condition he's been mocking Bill for having for so many years.
Edit: Their names aren't really Bill and Ted and this is not an excellent nor is it a bogus adventure.
