Opportunistic? I don't know. I think 9/11 opened up alot of eyes (mine included) to what firefighters do on a daily basis.

I agree about the comparison, good point. But, I saw this movie and don't see anything negative about it. I saw the movie as commemorating the 9/11 firefighters and I think that's great.

As a friend of Jimmy Hanlon , I've known for a long time what a firefighters life is like, and I personally feel that the way that Ladder 49 was "marketed," I feel that the movie was opportunistic ThePresence 🙁

I respect the way you feel, but I don't know any firefighters personally, and it certainly gave me an appreciation for what these guys do. I think that's a good thing.
