A while back I bought a Gmail invite on ebay, to boost my feedback (don't ask). I created an email address that I want to use now. But I forgot the password and reset instructions were sent to the seller's email. Luckily, I looked up his email domain and it is expired or previously registered.
The grand question is: Am I able to buy the domain and create the email account the guy used in addition to receive the Gmail reset instructions?
Sounds possible to me, but I would like some comments(heh) before I spend $10 on the domain.
