Car Mods that is. Seems like we have alot of people on this forum that are passionate about cars and seem to know alot. I would like to get a feel of how many people are driving something that is NOT STOCK.

Please tell us about your car(s) and mods. If you have any performance stats or pictures, go ahead and post those goodies too!

not too bad with only bolt ons. I want ot replace my cam shaft, header, and go from 2.25" exhaust pipe to 2.5"

Purchased a 1987 Turbo Lebaron Convertible for $600 two years ago. Nothing worked and they lady was going to trade it in. I bought it instead.

MODIFICATIONS

EXHAUST: Removed catalytic converter and added 2.5 inch exhaust with turbo muffler.
ENGINE: Replaced injectors with larger
COMPUTER: Replaced stock computer with modified racing computer
INTAKE: Added K&N Cone filter and modified air plunnum box

Currently, the car runs great and is very fast. It can easily do front wheel burn outs and hold it's own with Mustang GT's. Now that the car is running well, I'll be working on prepping it for paint. The car has leather seats, power windows, power seats, AM/FM Cassette, talking computer, gas mileage computer, tilt, cruise, etc. Fully loaded. It's just a blast to drive in the summer. I keep it in storage in the winter.

miata: strut bar, shocks (adjustable), springs, sways (front and rear), polyurethane bushings,...think thats about it....oh yeah, the same set up was documented as pulling 1.01G's!!!!!

Well there are about 4 of them, but the fastest one is:

1988 Dodge Daytona
Turbocharged, intercooled
14.7psi of boost at ~2500 rpms
custom computer with more aggressive spark and fuel curves among other things
kyb shocks
soon to be koni struts
2.5" exhaust out through a cat only to a side pipe under my door
a few other tidbits that aren't coming to mind.......

While this particular car hasn't been to the track, it should cut the 1/4 in about 13.8 assuming I can hookup and get a decent short time.

Last I heard, it was running high 8's- low 9's w/ 6 point, automatic and small slicks.

2001 Honda Accord EX: Pioneer HE / Infinity Kappa spkrs + sub / Orion + Zapco amps; custom litter bag by Case Logic; small hole burned in driver's seat (crotch area) by a carelessly flung butt. Mobile phone sits on passenger's side floorboards. Can't get much more custom than that, I'd say!

The only mod I have coming in for my car is a Stage II computer, specifically for the VNT engine I have equipped. Also, if you consider an air/fuel meter a mod - you can count that as well Next thing I'm doing is going for a high flow cat and matching exhaust system

LAUST - Just get a adapter faceplate. Shouldn't look that bad. My friend had one and it looked good. Don't think they'll make 1.5 DIN MP# players anytime soon though.
