That's actually kinda funny because that's not all that far off the system I'm currently looking to replace.

That would've been an upgrade for me.

Maybe if I wait another 10 years I'll be able to get a NIB 9900k system for that price.

Though I doubt my system will make it that much longer.

I still have the EVGA GTX-680 I got right at release via a "step-up" from a super-cheap Newegg GTX-480 deal. Its sitting in a box and at this point is relegated to 3rd backup. Not worth enough to bother selling at this point.

My Samsung 256gb 840 Pro is still going strong after I cloned my Dell I5 laptops Win 10 Pro install to it ... use it every day.

my server isn't too far away from that either. though i'm using a beta bios that boots nvme from a pcie riser so my SSD is better :p and no water.

Seriously, though, those specs look very similar to the gaming rig that I'm using now, except for the video card. Yeah, I'm kinda due for an upgrade.
