My fiance drinks about a gallon of the stuff a week. What gives?! I have to pay out about $5 a week just to keep some in the fridge, then it's gone? Does anyone else have this kind of problem? She drinks it with almost every meal and loves to drink milk with chocolate...

she could be drinking soda and getting rather large, don't you think milk is a better substitute? plus it makes healthy bones for ladies and she won't get asteoperosis and then you can do her hard in the later years when you're married without breakign something.

Stop your whining and buy more milk if you want some. Would you rather she drank soda, beer, wine, juice, bottled water?

Milk is like $2.50/gal from local dairy farms. Our family (5 people) used to go through a gallon every other day, I personally go through a half gallon to a gallon a week.

Milk FTW.

I love milk, and between having cereal for breakfast each morning and washing down something sweet with it at night, probably go through more than a gallon a week.

Nope...$3.50 a gallon most places....but she drinks a gallon a week...I have to buy a gallon about every 5-6 days, thus the $5/week quote.

We're on skim too. I really love 2% with a slice of pie, but actually prefer the skim after drinking it for the last 15 years.

I wish i could drink milk like that but my body would turn on me if i did that.
As others said, as long as its 1% or less, it is good for her in many way and MUCH better than soda, juice drinks, etc.

$5 a gallon? Damn. I pay $2 at Sams. And I go through about a gallon every week or so. We usually go through more but my wife is off all Dairy because our daughter is still breastfeeding and has trouble digesting it.

Yep...aside from paying the mortgage and bills and trying to get through Grad school, I really don't have that much on my plate. I may not have a lot of money, but I'm certainly lacking drama in my life. ;)
