Dreamweaver is for people who like putting layer and div tags all over the place.

Unless you working on ASP or Coldfusion i think that there are many good free editors for basic HTML/PHP work around Webkit is one.

Noc if your host lets you make MYSQL databases and you understand a bit about php you might consider Nucleus 3.1 I got it b/c i was /am too damn lazy to code a whole other webpage ... it provides a very feature-rich backend for making a personal or comunity webpage, and its quite easy to setup. I use it for my webpage (abit i just started using it two days ago and still have the default css sheet) and found it to be very easy to setup and with a bit of reading easy to customize.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't trust PHP applications though. So handcoding static pages is about it for me. I don't want a community or anything, so it shouldn't be too bad. 😉

Yeah, my site is just my own personal web portal. No other visitors unless I want to share files with people. Just basic webstuff for me.

I've got a few outdated/incomplete pieces of documentation up there. I've got more complete versions on the USB memory key in my pocket, but I'm lazy. 😛
