huh? because the Union refused to leave their territory.

:D

Let me guess, General Washington fought for independence from the British for the....CSA?

The fort was built by the CSA to fight the British in the war of 1812? No, it was a US fort.

You bomb a US base, you get your ass handed to you. That is life. (and shows your total disregard for your life still being valid)

The upstart south tried to uphold their white aristocracy on the backs of minorities and FAILED, and for their stupidity killed more Americans then WW1 and WW2 almost combined. What you speak of is holocaust denial, of a different sort.

What part of "leaving the union and taking our shit with us" don't you understand? It wasn't US property because it was property of South Carolina. We can talk semantics all we want, but that's what happened. The North antagonized the South by refusing to leave their territory. They in fact were building re-enforcements and supplies. Do you blame Afghani's for attacking US resupply depots? I sure as hell hope not.

Why does KY need federal regulation?
If the people of KY want more gas pipeline regulation they can elect people to their state government who will enact such regulations.

Dunno, maybe because rivers and such flow downstream and affect multiple states?

Like I was saying, a bunch of moronic sociopaths who think the world owes them an island unto themselves. Welcome to conservatism 2011.

How exactly you guys think like this without your spinal cord wanting to reach up and strangle your brain for being so idiotic I do not know.

Ah I see your problem. You are confusing conservatism with liberty. You mean you're anti-liberty, not anti-conservatism.

I repeat:

A debate of federal versus state regulation is one thing. Ideologues who have no clue about what works but simply use dogma to demand one answer are another.

These are the same people who run around saying "destroy the EPA! It hurts jobs!" and want to be taken seriously on issues. No thank you.
