I scored the deal of the decade over the weekend at a local supermarket:

Scored 14 1.5" thick NY strips for $48!!! Each one of these babies is a good 16-18oz. Beautiful:

Can not wait to cook these slabs up :)

EDIT: To clarify, you had to buy the whole loin, and you could buy up to two of them, meaning up to 25Lbs of steak!

My guess is the "bulk" aspect of this thread. IE - He bought two BIG packages, and had the butcher slice them up per his instructions (as per the ad's "free slicing").

Basically, limit of 2 bulk packages. Not 2 lbs.

I dunno about you, but I'd consider 17lbs of steak bulk. Ground beef, perhaps not. But steak...
