A summing up of the "Please delete" thread ...

It started 11/21/2006 06:09 PM and ended 06/10/2007 08:15 AM,
that is 202 days, 3244 posts (excluding the edits by the moderators), 3882 reads.

64 TeAm members posted and at least one AnandTech moderator.

Uppsala9496 has managed to get his wife pregnant while ignoring this thread.

Liz has designed a fort for us.

FMC has brewed Limon cello for the moat.

BMC has obtained horned trout for the Limon cello moat.

We also have some official pre-second-world-war-transportation.

Wolfraiders family has survived a car accident.

Petrus has moved to a new house, and so have FMC and Liz...

FMC has has done stats for almost once a week ...

We have introduced serial posting to the DC-forum ...

We have hade tons of fun, load of encouragement and a lot of laughs.

Not one person posted derigatory, offensive, abrasive or abusive posts.

AFAIK, nobody has been offended.

I would like to thank all of the great TeAm mates for a wonderful past time - it has made DC a lot more fun, and I have the impression that the social importance of this thread was much bigger than we thought when we passed the 1 000th post.

Now lets see if we can persuade FMC to post the final stats.

And - last but not least - lets all thank the AnandTech Moderators for keeping this thread unlocked for such a long time! Thank you! :sun:

I would like to have a copy - download of this thread, can you post is somewhere FMC? One possibility is TAS' web site ...

Excellent idea for a thread. I'm going to be doing a version of the final stats to give it a proper send off. Only thing is where to put this stats page. I was thinking about doing it own web page.

Also, for those that would like to save / keep it, it is available on PDF here. Each PDF is a page of the forums, set to 40 posts per page. A bit of a lack for forethought on my part, but it is of my login. Also, the new changes are apparent, and make the pdf a bit more unreadable, but it works. I also have the entire thread archived @ 500 posts per page via Microsoft OneNote. I am working on finding other methods to archiving the thread...

Okay, and here is the HTML archive. Each file (pd-1, pd-2, etc) is a page of the thread, set at 500 posts per page. Also, there is a .rar file that has all of the files together if you wish to download it.
