I have seen a lot of dumb ass threads. Ok, so you have too, and for a long time. Problem is that they often start out alright, but before you know it we get into dumb abusive crap. Note anything to do with religion.

So, my serious suggestion is to have a "Dumbass" forum. Don't lock them. Move them there, and let the rest of us have peace.

Call it what you will, but having a "trash can" forum (no, not PN) would clear up a lot of garbage IMO

I think a better idea would be to have a troll free forum and not a troll filled forum. Just ban all the trolls from the troll free zone category. I say this cause I've seen a lot of good threads go bad by those trolls and just because you have a troll filled forum category doesn't mean they can't muck up a perfectly fine thread in another category.

Perhaps we are seeing a joke where one was not intended.

What I saw was a post asking for a "Dumbass" forum, then a followup stating that "Yeah, a Mac Forum would be great," which I interpretted as humorously suggesting that a forum for "Dumbasses" and "Mac User" would be synomymous.

*shrug*
