Just to let you all know, YES, sometimes you get lucky and get a board that seems to have no issues. :)

I was very leery of getting a NF3 Socket 939 board because of all the complaints I see about them here. But the performance supiority over the VIA chipsets in the games I play frequently made it very attractive.

I ordered a Neo2 Platinum from Monarch Computer with a A64 3500 90nm, Corsair TwinX 2x512 MB (PC4400), an Antec Trupower 550 and it worked perfectly right out of the box. Got it overclocked at 2450mhz, seems to be stable with Folding at Home. I'll fool with additional overclocking when I have the time to really play with it.

Settings are FSB 223x11, stock voltages, CAS 2.5, 4, 4 8. Command rate 1T.

So, yes, there are a few folk who have no issues. But you usually only hear from the ones with problems.
