A 'sub' sounds boring, but a hoagie or a hero sounds extra delicious.

I'd rather get a grinder.

When I moved to New England, I heard this all the time, and now that's all I call it lol. I don't like the word "hoagie" & "hero" just sounds silly to me. It can be called a sub, but really, it's a grinder! Grinders also sounded weird to me, but then Stockholm syndrome set in haha.

Long as it tastes good you can call it anything you want! :p ;)

And Forbes is full of baloney .... sandwich's that I make for myself taste the best every time because they're made exactly the way I like them every time!

i prefer producer consumer

(i make my own sandwiches and then eat them)
Yeah, the research shows sandwiches always taste better when made by the pair of supermodels you drape on your arm. Plus you get to punish them until they learn to do it right every time.

It makes the most sense because a good grinder is on chewy bread so you grind your way through them.

'Sub' sounds boring, but Hoagie or Hero sounds extra delicious.

Are quotes needed? Quotes on all or none?

I am guessing hero is the redneck butchering pronunciation of gyro.
