Any kind of photo state, federal photo ID will do, a passport is the best, but by no means is needed ... as long as you are a US citizen

Oops I mean no. Americans and Canadians get to go between on drivers ID. We're such good buddies. Awe shucks :)

If you are driving you only NORMALLY need just your drivers license, but a birth certificate is recommended.. if you are flying you need a birth certificate or a passport.. the airline has to validate your documents and they need that to do it. And customs in the airport ALWAYS asks for it.

I think we needed birth certificates..but maybe that was only for the kids w/o licenses (8, 10, 12, 16yo)..but they may have brought mine also..I don't remember. You may want to bring it just in case.
