i just owned comcast's face!

i signed up for service over a year ago and somehow got the rep to give me the rates for the triple play on only two services (phone and internet). at the time they werent offering that. so i was paying 66 plus taxes etc for a total of like 73 bucks-ish

well my promo period just expired and my bill shot up to 95 effing dollars!!! holy hell

i was on SlickDeals and found a thread for Digital voice for 19.99/mo for 12 months (unlimited local and long distance calling) that was supposed to be for new customers... then comcast had a special for internet for 19.99 for 6 months...

i sweet talked the lady via COMCAST ONLINE CHAT (haha) and used the broke single mother card. this girl was probably a little older than me cuz she said she was single and wanted children etc. anywwaaayyysss... i just got my service knocked down from 95 dollars a month to 42 plus taxes etc!

PWNAGE.... right? right?

I'm glad I ditched Comcrap for FIOS last year.

I do it with Cox every time the "promotional period" expires. My bill goes to $92 after taxes, etc. I call them and it's back to half that in 5 minutes.

i donno how much u spend time calling but my plan is $5 + tax (about $7.xx total) + 2 cents per minute. $19.99 a month is hardly warm. the self pwnage is evident.
