That's because these are old people responding, duh!
We're now all just bitter old men, lamenting how stuff sucks now.

(Hey, it's the Internet. In that time zone, being in your 30s means you can be in "bitter old man" territory. Damn kids...)

Back in the day, we had to walk uphill both ways to get quality customer service.

They responded already. I hope Andy survives this - I wrote the letter with the best of intentions. Their response, when read a certain way, sounds a little ominous:

check on andy next month and post an update

Ha ha ha!

All corporate people are dicks by their organizational bonding and probably normal good people by their individual selves.

Someday I swear to make a thread about why this is so.

O.K. I called the store and asked for Andy. "We don't have anyone named Andy at this location. Can someone else help you?"

Sad.

Confirmed.

First line of the OP:
Names have been changed...

For all we know, "Andy" IS the manager which is what gave him flexibility with the paperwork. :colbert:

Sorry. I may be a long time member but I wasn't big on ATOT back then and I can't perpetuate this for LULZ alone.

While the name has been changed it has at least been confirmed no Andy works there now.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but I bet you got Andy fired.
