lol theres something funky going on around here with the bugs. we also used to have these medium sized white butterflies and these little orange butterflies that flew low to the ground in the grass called skippers and theyre both gone too. when i was a kid, we used to collect bugs and mount them, and when you couldnt find a monarch or a swallowtail, you could always find one of these guys, but not anymore

25C is winter here in South Texas ... why the hell do you need an AC for 25C? Even 30C is fine with fans going ...

Fans just move hot air around, you still sweat like crazy. I like to keep the house at 20-22c. I have a portable 1 ton unit, so I use fans to try to direct the cold air around so I just set it up in my office once instead of moving it around. It helps so much since I moved my PCs in the server room though. Will be even better once I seal/insulate that room as it will be on it's own hvac system that will use outside air based on indoor/outdoor temp. Still need to build the hvac unit. Basically lot of servos, sensors and an arduino.

At least I'm going to guess that's where it came from, it was near by.

I set spiders free if found in the house. Unless I identify it as a poisonous variety, like a brown recluse or black widow. No other insects are usually so lucky to be set free if found indoors, unless it's a moth or something relatively harmless. And my cats love the June bugs that fly inside when the doors open.
