FYI

Peanut Butter, especially extra oily peanut butter, does wonders for black trim on cars. A friend told me about using peanut butter to wipe around the dried out, light areas on the trim. I tried it, and I can confirm it works.

The only thing that sucks is cleaning it off the paint and windows. Also, the pb was killin' me cause i'm on the atkins diet....and I can't eat it... :(

Anyone else tried pb on their vehicles?

Peanut Butter is great for getting gum out of your hair, but I'd keep it away from the vehicle cleaning/polishing.. There are definitely better alternatives that wont attract bugs and other wildlife to your car.

Umm, peanuts=protein, no? So why can't you eat peanutbutter if you're on Atkins?

I imagine most of the half-crisco jar peanutbutter could contain quite a bit of sugar, but just get the natural stuff.. It tastes better anyway.

As for using it on your car.. umm... no. I'm sure it works, because of the peanut oil.. but..

You are so right. Natural peanut butter is high protien low sugar/carb. Even the brand name's only have about 7-10 grams of carbs per serving (they do add sugar though) so if you pick up some Nature's Own low carb bread (7 grams per slice) plus some natural peanut butter, you can get a great sandwich for under 20 carbs... yummmm.....

I'm close to my carb limit for the day, so I couldn't eat any...

I got the idea to use pb on the trim from a professional auto detailer.
