Tennessee throws it hat in the ring, tired of FL an TX getting all the press... even if it's just a bugfuck crazy preacher man.

Pastor Greg Locke on Sunday criticized Governor Bill Lee's Executive Order 83 signed last week, calling the governor a "coward...noodle...waffler."

That is actually my main gripe with religion today, leaders preachers heralds, the people who guides the flock are not “selected” by the people, are not subject to the normal norms for someone holding office, and we all know what happens to the human psyche without checks and balances. Its gonna grow into a monster that speaks and directs at things that it has no business authority or morality over..

You don't think those professions are self selected by just those sorts of corruptible people?

Ah, that may be my second language biting my tongue, those three should all have been synonyms of the aboutish same thing, leaders in religion. I get that corruption also happens in public office but my argument is that the checks there are stronger, its easier to get rid of Cuomo than it is of a pedophile priest, he just gets relocated to another “office”.

Still non the wiser as to what moonie meant.
What I am trying to say is that people who are damaged to the point they have sick emotional needs, who have been made to feel so worthless they not only accept it as true but seek to act it out in ways to show the world it is true, who seek revenge for the damage done to them by inflicting it on others and satisfying the sickness induced needs within them as ego gratification, these types, where sufficient IQ is present and fear of exposure is strong, will use cunning to escape detection and to achieve control over others.

Power corrupts because we all are susceptible to the above disease, we all carry within us those seeds of feeling of worthlessness, we are all sick with the false self of ego.

Thus I would say there are two thresholds that blend into each other. Those who succumb to the temptation offered with power, the opportunities of abuse it offers, and those who seek power and it's authority as a means to act out what they brought with them seeking it. The priesthood is a perfect place for sexual predators and for obvious reasons. It is also a perfect place to breed new generations of predators via Stockholm syndrome. Abusers fuck children up.

Human ignorance keeps the whole generational thing rolling by denial of self hate. That hate is always projected. Contempt for predators creates fear of being caught which drives them to hide behind authority for safety, creating better chances for them to succeed and create more of their kind.

Only when we see that there is no such thing as evil but only self hate produced by condemnation will we have a chance to improve the mental health of the human race.

There is nothing wrong with anybody other than the fact we hide from the pain that made us feel that we are.

I have set aside here the fact that there may be people who genetically can't experience empathy, the numbers of which I think to be rather small compared to the fact that the first thing to go with self hate is the ability to feel much of in the way of real self love, the that can't help but manifest as love for others.

Sure.
And that is all good and well.

Only when we see that there is no such thing as evil but only self hate produced by condemnation will we have a chance to improve the mental health of the human race.

- In practical terms, how do you propose we get there?

My take is that we are well on our way, see the direction politics in the west has taken over the last 50 years, see what kind of standards your democrats sets for themselves, Cuomo out, vs. republicans Roy Moore, swell guy. We already know what's best for us and want better for our neighbors, brothers and sisters, and then there is some cancerous elements that dials it back ever so often... But on the larger scale we *are* moving forward. But only because those of us who wants better is not sitting on our asses.

But by all means, if you have a practical application for your self-hate theorems - that will get us there faster, lets have it :).
