Lucy McBath is the mother of Jordan Davis who was killed by a white guy who pulled up next to him in a convenience store parking lot and demanded Jordan turn off his music. The same Jordan Davis that racist righties labeled as a thug. Davis lost his life because he refused to take orders from the white man.

Wow it's just brutal to think this lady was inspired to run because her son was murdered.

You have to commend her for taking that grief and turning it into a call to action. In some ways she's accomplished her goals just by ousting a virulent Republican. Any policies she implements will be icing on the cake.
