I had a fear that something like that existed. I told my friend (in the context of his too-high electric bill) to search the web for "vampire loads". I was afraid he would get the wrong search results.

WTF? The plot of Sonic the hedgehog is Dr. Robotnik kidnapping animals to turn into robot drones. Sonic is supposed to be rescuing cute lil animals from the doc. Doesn't seem to be the case here.

There are six months until this movie comes out... it makes you wonder if they could just rework the CGI? It'd likely take a bit too long, but I guess one fortunate thing is that you don't need to rework any moments where he's moving too fast to be seen or spinning. Although, Paramount might also not want to sink more money into something that they're really aiming toward kids.

1) Majority of people that know what Sonic was are now 30+ years of age. This dumb movie seems targetted to children, but children likey won't get most of it
2) Holy fuck this is dumb
3) Holy crap this is dumb
4) Gangster's Paradise as a theme song? Really?
5) Jim Carry as Robotnic (or Robotnic equivalent)? HELL NO. I mean, fucking minimum is that he needs to be a fatty - not skinny as a toothpick.

Still don't like Jim Carry as Robotnik. I also don't get why in this story it's acting as if Dr. Robotnik doesn't know who Sonic is going into it.

Did they not make Robotnik stocky for politically correct reasons? I love Jim Carrey, but Dr. Robotnik's roundness is a key defining trait to his character...
