Hi,

I own a wholesale company and I currently have several drivers working for me for delivering products to my customers. Currently I use paper to record down their leaving time and returning time as well as who they are delivering to. I would like to computerize this and I would like to implement a touchscreen to this program. In the end I want to select my driver, selects the customers he is going to and record the leaving/returning time for each day's work.

I've gone though quite a few searches on google and it seems like a lot of the programs are GPS tracking or some sort of online tracking. I don't need something in that perspective, I just need something for my internal purpose.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

It sounds like you just want a simple database with a graphical selection front end.

Are you expecting a portable unit or just something on your desktop.

Just something for desktop is fine. I just want to record the times of my drivers and where they have gone.

Edit: Doesn't need to be portable for the driver to take it everywhere they go. It's something for the office.

Get a coy of MS Access and setup a couple of tables.
One for driver, another for customers
A third is for delivery info.

Then spend 2-3 hours to develop a front end that allows you to select the customers, driver and acontrol for start/stop time

Touch screen is a hardware feature that will cost more $.
