There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going
There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing
Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a blowing?
Not a spec of light is showing so the danger must be growing
Are the fires of Hell a glowing? Is the grizzly reaper mowing?
YES!!!
The danger must be growing
for the rowers keep on rowing
and they're certainly not showing
any signs that they are slowing!!!
Stop the boat

My dorm built a float of Willy Wonka and we had some people dress up as oompaa loompa's and we had a willy, it was amusing

Yo,
Gene Wilder was The MAN in the 1970s:

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
Silver Streak
Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles

Felt so sad for him when his wife, Gilda Radner, died of cancer.

I agree, he is quite possibly my favorite actor. Unfortunately I think he has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lympoma. :( :( :(

I know exactly what they're talking about. I wanted to see if anyone would catch on to the movie I referenced ;)

We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dreams

I loved Aphex's sample of that on 85-92

Wrong, sir! Wrong! Under section 37B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers shall become null and void if -- and you can read it for yourself in this photostatic copy -- "I, the undersigned, shall forfeit all rights, privileges, and licenses herein and herein contained," et cetera, et cetera... "Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum," et cetera, et cetera... "Memo bis punitor delicatum"! It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks! You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!

I just wish the DVD was in letterbox. I did get to see it at the theater a few years ago though.:)

FYI they did release it in letterbox. After a huge outcry following their announcement of a full-frame release (NOT pan & scan though), WB decided to release a widescreen version with all of the same extra features as the full-frame. Just make sure you check the box before buying because both versions have the same packaging.

One of the best movies of all time!
