I got all of these as samples from an up and coming Chinese manufacturer. So far everything seems very solidly and precisely made. I'm actually quite surprised.
The brand is Sunway Photo, and the L-bracket is probably going to sell for only about $120. Don't quote me on this price though. The L bracket is very well constructed, all edges smoothed, very precise, extremely stiff, and surprisingly light.
I'm hoping to be the US retailer for these guys, but I'd like to iron out some design issues with them first before releasing these things on the market. For example, their "universal" L bracket actually doesn't fit my D300s, the instruction manuals in English need to be proofread, and things like maximum loads that are bearable on their ballheads need to be rated at an angle, not when the ballhead is level.
