A site changed by registry setting, how do i reverse

A site , without my permission, changed my regsitery setting so that every time i start ie, i would see the address of it on the left hand corner

ex. It would say "Anandtech Forum Operationg System #$%$6y6.com

how do I remove it?
I am sick of seeing #$%$6y6.com everytime i use ie
