A simple question: 8800GT SLI or 8800GTS SLI?

Is it worth the extra $100 to get a 8800GTS SLI setup?

Also any purchase would be EVGA cards with the intent to stepup sometime in July or August to 260 GTX SLI or 280 GTX SLI. Depending on price/preformance.

neither makes sense right now with the total ownage expected in about 3 weeks from the totally new gen of hardware. (The G92 and the HD3000 were both just minor refreshes)

Like I said I'll be using the EVGA step up program. Im building a new system now, and not waiting 3 or more weeks.

what mobo? be sure a 2 slot card will fit if u go with the gts... seems liek the gts is better if u want quieter stock performance, but it'a hard to beat the gt's with the aftermarket cooler already tacked on like the asus...

The Dell 2408WFP, unless I decide to go cheap and save $300 and get the 2208WFP? Got any recommendations on a monitor?

Well, Im going with Evga's 750i FTW, which has gotten a lot of good reviews lately. It also seems more stable than its 780/790 breathern. The board is said to have plenty of clearance for dual slot video cards in SLI.

Just buy one card, and step up to the 280. You'll still end up paying a lot more by stepping up though, and you'll have to wait longer.
