A simple and basic soundcard.

Hello,

I'm interested in buying this basic soundcard: http://www.st-lab.com/SC8738_3.html just for its gameport connection (because i'm buying yoke and pedals, and the pedals are gameport).
At the yoke and pedlas manufacturer's site it was written that "Windows xp supports only high-speed gameports".
Is this card stands at these requirements?

Thanks for the repliers!

Well, the yoke appears to be USB.

Quote from the link you provided:
Windows 98/2000/XP ME, iMac, or Mac (with USB port*) compatible.

As for a sound card and game port, I've never heard of a special "high speed gameport". So I would think even a generic sound card like the one you listed will work ok. You could also simply buy a game port card, I've seen them on various websites. You may even want to check your motherboard, sometimes they have game ports built in, but just don't include the internal cable for it.

The yoke is really USB, but the pedals are gameport...
I'll check the motherboard, but i think i am going to buy this cheap card anyway... I need it also for something else.
