I've heard of the moderators forum, but this needs to be public. It seems the mods over there support this nonsense. This site (specifically a tech forum such as VC&G) is supposed to be a site where people get unbiased information. Where someone can get an honest look and popular opinion about hardware. Now look at how the mods will let this just drag on, and on, and on. God forbid a thread is posted about Starcraft in the PCG forums, but no, let there be 40 threads on the GTX 460/470 and carry on with the shillish postings.
Just because he isn't flat-out lying doesn't mean he's not shilling for nVidia with the constant, repetitive communication of every news story that involves nVidia, Fermi, No AA in SC and supposed bad ATI drivers. It's just advertising nVidia products. He's a nVidia guy throughly. You can see that with his early postings and even through today. Just because he owns an ATI card doesn't mean a thing. I can remember another confirmed shill who played the same exact role...
There was a time long ago that I came here for this kind of information on hardware. The experienced tech reader can spot this out in a heartbeat, but for the uninformed consumer they are swayed towards one direction. They might believe him as he has many posts and maybe owns an ATI card, but is doing anything possible for generating hype for nVidia by appearing non-biased by his current video card. If he's so interested in an nVidia card, why doesn't he just buy one and be done with it? Oh wait, that wouldn't promote nVidia one bit. He's playing this one hard with the support of current VC&G moderators. It's not like he needs to know any MORE about the hardware. He's just promoting it.
Enough is enough. If he wants to promote nVidia, make him buy ad space. That forum is turning into a joke.
This issue will be discussed by the admin. It has been given some attention, but there were other priorities to be addressed first. I can see no good that will come from this thread, so have locked it. PM sent to OP for further discussion. -Admin DrPizza
