A SETI Queue question for the experts.

Inside the subdirectory or a user, there's a user.ini file. I would like to know what's the purpose of these lines:

User/ShowEmail=FALSE
User/Insane=FALSE

Since most of the information in this ini seems to have been updated by the program, I am interested to know when does the program change the setting of the second line above to TRUE?🙂

For me, I'll probably wait till the program change it unless there's a real benefit to it😉
 
It's changed for me on my Q, will tell you in just over an hour when i send a completed WU what happens!

Well i have changed it, submitted a result, and nothing seems to have happened

Maybe an email to the maker of SetiQueue wouldn't go amis!

Did the program changed it back to FALSE or stayed TRUE after being updated with the workunit submission?
 
I'm just waiting on Cakin and Dingas to let me know their daily averages, then it will all be done 🙂

I have just recieved an email from Jen Reneris, the author of SetiQueue 🙂



<< The insane options turns of various internal sanity checks. These
checks are typically simple things like "make sure the queue of WUs is
not more the 1000". Which would be used to protect against some
problem and/or abuse that confuses setiqueue into downloading everything
at berkley and filling up your HD.

Thanks that's great info.

My Q keep logging that my max queued is not supported.

I guess the program will NEVER classify me as an INSANE SETI user just yet😉
 
When are you going to dump Is0s, tomorrow? Not sure if I'll make the 3,000 by then or not. 😉

I think you've been holding some workunits. You usually get 100 a day but these last 2 days are just about half.
