My take is that it depends on whether they can prove one or more specific crimes were committed, beyond reasonable doubt. I don't know what proof they have.

Tribe seems to think a swing and a miss is better than no swing at all. I don't agree. If Garland is to prosecute Trump, he needs to win.

I haven't seen an actual report beyond "unnamed former law enforcement said..." so would love to get it straight from the source.
Yeah, I think they were referring to the bullshit Reuters article as "the report."

The problem with prosecuting Trump is that there are so many crimes he's committed before, during and after his tenure in office, it's hard to pick the one or the few that would get him locked up. It's my sense that that POS grifter has racked up such an impressive laundry list of crimes committed against the people of the nation such that he could be prosecuted right into his grave and beyond.

If only his Secret Service detail could legally testify against him, it would surely open Trump up to additional charges.

It still leaves me in a state of wonderment how 70+ million people wanted to give him another crack at creating a fascist state where racists, supremacists, nativists, isolationists, religious nutjobs and secessionist throwbacks would constitute the core of his support and the ones who would most influence his policy making decisions, which is exactly what happened during his first term in office.

There are red sirens going off daily in terms of the escalating rhetoric and overall bully behavior, and it is not being met with any resistance whatsoever.

It has the same erie vibe leading up to 1/6, especially looking back in hindsight. Be safe out there, people.

Your democracy ended when Obama had the choice to prosecute the Banksters and Wall Street thieves and passed, subsequently creating the conditions that someone like Trump can become president.

Jesus, here we go. Off on a tangent and not even logically attributing the cause. The issue you attribute to our loss of democracy was caused by Republicans appointing justices to the Supreme Court that said money is speech. If you want to railroad a thread to your favorite whipping boy do so accurately. Any exclusion of money from the political process will happen when backed by Republicans. And the fansge to democracy from money in politics did not begin or end with non prosecution of Wall Street.

Wtf is wrong with you? Was a peaceful transfer of power threatened? Did it prevent Americans from voting? Wow.

Run cover for and downplay Jan 6th but you think Obama ended our democracy? You need help. Please seek it.
