I saw this for the first time (yeah I know) yesterday...

The use of aural cues and the camera angles is genius work IMO.

Listening to the latter part of this - I cannot get the picture out of my mind of those two young boys pushing the TV on the cart by the park at Coney Island. :Q

excellent cinematographic style and the coupled musical score is brilliant. Clint Mansell is a god when paired with Darren Aronofsky. The Fountain had a breathtaking score as well. :)

i didn't like the Fountain. But you could also check out movie called "Pi". It is one of my favorites.

Pi is my least favorite Aronofsky movie, but still a pretty good movie. Definitely a great and humble beginning for the man. I personally think his movies progress in story and impact with each subsequent release. RFAD was one of my favorite movies prior to The Fountain, but now the latter reigns supreme along with a few others as the number of movies watched increases.

any other good movies like this? I remember 5 years ago I saw Pi, Requiem, Amelie, Run Lola Run.. I haven't seen any good movies like that since :(

If you liked the movie, check out the book. It's an absolute trip... I can't think of a better way to quickly describe it. Selby is genius.
