a really stupid win2k resolution problem

I'm having a weird problem, my pc won't go over 1600x1200 in resolution..

I have a HP P-1120 screen which is supposed to be able to go to 1920x1480 or some such at 70hz

I also have a Creative Geforce 3 card, so I'm pretty sure my hardware can go well over 1600x1200, but how do I do it????

My gladiac 920 gf3 only goes to 1600x1200. I doubt you have a problem at all. The monitor capability doesn't matter, just shows what kind of video resolution it CAN support. The card does the job.
 
what refresh rate r u using when u try to go above 1600x1200

....
got probs like that as well lowered my refreshrate to 85Hz all better
