A Ratio of 1250 to 1

On O'Reilly tonight, he said that the CIA estimates that we have killed 25,000 Iraqi soldiers. And that's a CONSERVATVE estimate. We have lost 20 soldiers. So, 25,000 vs 20, a ratio of 1250 to 1. Is that what the news media is calling "Fierce resistance?"

LOL WTG USA!

W00T! DEATH!!!!

While I agree the war effort is going smoothly, please reconsider your stance, 25 thousand people have lost their lives, no matter their nationality, that is nothing to celebrate. War is hell.

perfect example of how this is not a "war" but a slaughter and should be addressed as such.

Tell it to the mothers of the dead.

Hey Mothers, tell your sons to stay home because the US will blow them away if they fight. WoOT. 25,000 of your puny poorly armed sons are dead, how many more will it take before you learn your lesson?

Carnack is Johnnie Carson's bit that you stole.

*shrug* I never really watched Carson. I think he retired in like 1993 or so IIRC and I wasn't old enough yet to enjoy such hilarity. I've only seen the punchline in those bits 😱

You've been playing too much Quake:disgust:

I look at it this way: 25,000 soldiers dead who were trying to stop foreign invaders in their country.

They wouldn't have to die if they surrendered... (except for the unlucky ones that get stuck with 'fake' US soldiers)

if you want a really lopsided ratio, compare dollars spent to deaths...or compare amount of money spent by iraq vs money we spent. THAT ratio is obscene. Do you know how many people that could feed? Tho with the way americans eat...that's prolly not as high a number as protesters would like it to be.

This shows how we respect people other than Americans, do you really believe that Saddam would have caused 25,000+ US casualties if he was still in power and we were working diplomatically towards disarmament? I really doubt it, but most Americans disgust me and have very little regard for human life other than people from the US, makes me sick.

haven't played Quake, or any id software game in years. If you consider US Soldiers to be Invaders, ask the Shiite muslums in Iraq (the majority of the population) what they think. Saddam has killed 2 million of his own people, how much respect does he have for life.

he would if he could.

Bah.. there WAS no diplomatic solution to disarmament. Saddam wasn't going to do it, period, and no amount of the French throwing flowers would ever change that.

They are dead because they decided to put their lives on the line for a brutal dictator that may be dead or dying himself.
Had they surrendered, they'd be alive and in good hands.

you do realize that Saddam committed his worst atrocities with full support from the US right? You do know that because of the US he was able to have a strangle hold on the country, that was when he was one of the "good guys" and by that I mean on our side. As anyone should know, the US in commonly on the side of very evil people. It is quite sad we have to resolve our own mistakes with serious violence that will probably lead to more problems in the future. and I really doubt saddam would do anything that serious, first because he wouldn't be able to, second because Iraq would be nuked in about 10 seconds.
