That is pretty neat, so rare that we see the president in a cartoon where he's NOT the brunt of the joke...

Why would the French not like the US? Hasn't the US generally had a good relationship with France. France brought the Statue of Liberty over, and the US was allies with the French in World War II. I think my history is lacking...

I don't think that is all that positive. I mean, they could be ribbing Bush as being reactionary, or one might intrepet the cartoon to be suggesting that Bush is politically capitalizing on the phase 'lets roll'.
