A random Q while driving.........

How do bees/wasps and flies endure the winter?

obviously during the winter you see dead empty bee hives, does the queen bee hibernate in the soil or something? How about the flies?

The hives are neither dead nor empty.

The worker bees surround the queen bee in a giant living ball of "Angry Bee".

The queen and strongest workers survive. All the others die.
