Hello all,

I haven't been following the whole hardware scene in awhile and need a quick recommendation on some solid ram and a good ocing HSF.

I recently got in on the opteron combo deal over at monarch and am getting a A8N-SLI (cheaper one) and an opteron 165.

I want to buy 2 gigs of solid ram. Eventually I hope to overclock it. Can anyone recommend some solid 1 gig ram sticks for this mobo ? I know technically any ddr400 should work, but I want good ram so that I can overclock and not have to worry about annoying ram compatibilities.

Also, when I eventually do get around to OCing, can anyone recommend a good HSF combo ?

Thanks

Ninja isn't bad, i've got one, but for anyone who doesn't care enough to keep up with the latest tech you'd be fine with a zalman 9500 or TT big typhoon, i upgraded to one of them from watercooling for my old socket A CPU.

RAM? Go value, you don't have an ultra high end system so the money you'd spend on top of the line RAM would be better invested elsewhere.

Doesn't the ram have to scale up as well, as far as ocing ? Or no ?
