A quick one. Mac users, how do you SEARCH for songs(mp3s) off the net?

I remembered there was a program that actually add a lot of the features to the built in Sherlock and one of the feature is finding mp3s off the net. : /

Try neo or pyslsk. (pyslsk fvcking ROCKS)

pyslsk <------ too l33t for her. She's 15k miles away from me. I can't help her through icq. 😀

There is always limewire, but limewire sucks as far as finding things and actually getting them to download and whatnot.

Hmmmmmm.........I found the song she wanted and she called me a genius and asked me how do I do it all the time. 😀

The power of broadband + 3 search engines. 😀

if she's using osx, she can use an open src client for gnutella, opennap, or the "kazaa" network.

sourceforge, freshmeat, etc are your friends in this case.

One thing I did for one of my cuter friends (I swear I'll get you pics next time I see her) was just to have her email me with a request and I'd just download something for her which she just fetched using **tada** fetch.

Long story.........a very long one......depressing too......sigh. 🙁

I recommend you give her a crash course in IRC. I swear, it's not that hard! Anything you find will prolly either cost money or have limited support. If it turns out too hard, dotGET will try and turn IRC into p2p, but it usually meets with limited results.

also ....
you should be buying the cds you know.

Well, I'm earning 6.50 an hour and working only 20 hrs a week. After I pay for rent and other stuffs. I'm left with 0. Where else do I get the loot? 🙂

Another thing. I've never downloaded from IRC. :Q

That would mean Pillage would actually have to comb his hair and use some gel.
