A quick and (probably) easy question about windows XP config. for dual boot....

I just installed a pair of SATA drives on a RAID 0 array. I then formatted them and used Norton Ghost to copy my windows XP installation from my C: drive to the raid array (Drive #3 on my computer, C: being drive #1) Now I'm trying to get my computer to boot to the raid array and I'm having troubles.

Would someone take a look at my boot config. and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

[boot loader]
timeout=14
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS=""Microsoft Windows XP Professional 160" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(3)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional RAID" /fastdetect
multi=multi

It says something to the effect of Drive 3 not bootable...

I'm sure it's just not set up right in the boot config. since it's a ghost image

Why not just put the raid array in as the boot drives, reinstall xp, use a driver disk to install with right drivers, and go along your way, reinstalling everything - would be far easier than trying to troubleshoot why a non-raid setup xp won't work when you ghost it to a raid setup.

Nahhh, I think I'll just try FIXBOOT from the XP install cd.

I think that will fix it.
