A question that Im sure has been asked before

Im going to be able to add 6 P2-350's but done of them have internet access and there not networked togeather. About how many blocks should each client have? While I will be able to change the buff files everyday I need to know how many are needed to last at least 24 hours and I cant get to them at all over the weekends, so the buff-in files that I give each client Friday has to be able to last all weekend and all day Monday....

According to Team AnandTech's Distributed Computing Speed Calculations Page, a PII 350 does about 315 blocks a day.

You may be interested in using Sneaky, a Windows program which will help you sneakernet blocks. I haven't used it myself but I've heard it works very well.

With Sneaky you'll be able to buffer far more, say 1 week's worth of work or more, so you don't have to visit each PC everyday.

I use Sneaky on a PII 400 that I've got and it works great. I download enough for about 4 full days of work at a time.
