This was something I was thinking about this weekend - maybe I have to change the way I approach trying to find somebody.

Guys, when you are out looking for women, do you take time to evaluate the possibilities and only persue particular targets? Or, do you just hit on everything in sight, hoping that you'll get a positive result from somebody?
 
Skoorb's idea worked for me 😛 Seriously...When I was trying to find someone to go out with, it never worked. The girls all thought a was a geek, or just plain weird, and the few that I could get to know I ended up in the inescapable trap that is the "friend zone". Then last summer I was working at school, and early on met a girl that I would be working with the whole time. Wasn't looking for anything, and for the longest time it never even occured to me to ask her out. It just kind of...happened. We got along really well, like a lot of the same things, etc. Started going out not long after school started last fall, and have been together ever since.

My plan is to not care! Works surprisingly well I'd say. Not caring seems to be misinterpreted as confidence by the fairer sex. Oh well... keep on keeping on I suppose.

I do a surgical strike because I am very picky.

I also like when the *fine* ones come talk to me.

I am on the prowl again since the girl I was dating move d for a new job. Surgical strikes here I come.
 
When I'm out, say at a party, I don't really persue anyone. I talk to most of the people I see, and if a girl comes after me, cool.
