A question on klipsch promedia speakers

Yeah, just get some RCA to 1/8" adapters. The front two will give you the stereo output from tv. If your tv has audio output, get one of these and hook up the front input from your Klipsch to the tv output... or you can run the stereo signal from the tv to the line-in on your soundcard and use the speakers through the computer.

If your tv doesn't have audio out, you should still be able to do the same thing with a cable box or VCR.

Ohh thanks, but just one more question. Won't the sound quality be bad, because on a PC I can use a speaker on a nice sound card, like the Audigy 2 Platinum. On a television is basically just on board.

I don't quite understand the onboard audio comment.

The quality of the output is going to be dependent on your equipment to an extent, but it should sound just fine.

Do you already have the Klipsch speakers, or are you looking for something in the pricerange for television use?

If you're looking for a HT type system, you might want to check out an Onkyo HTIB or Rocket tykes rather than adapting a computer speaker solution.
