What are these so called printer questions that everyone is complaining about. They say the test was pretty easy except the SCSI and printers questions. Can someone give me an example or two of some questions?

Just know the steps that a laser printer goes through to put an image on paper. For example (random question that I just made up that is probably somewhere on the test):

You print a document with a laser printer, and the paper comes out with nothing on it. It is just a blank white. You try several more times and the same thing happens. Which is a possible cause for this problem?

A) The flux capacitor is malfunctioning and the time warp isn't working.
B) The drum isn't being charged due to a problem with the primary corona. <--- correct answer
C) Bob Dole put a fish in your printer.

Something like that. Like I said, just know how a laser printer works and know all the steps and you'll be fine. And yes, know SCSI also, I got a lot of SCSI questions on my A+ exam in May.

Heh, the hardware is cake man, don't sweat it, the scsi stuff is just knowing how long the cables are, it doesnt ask you bus widths or anything like that, the OS technologies, you should study for, make sure you know the boot processes, for both 9x and 2k, and what each step does. Also know the diagnostic tools for both (such as drwatson for 9x, etc etc.) The pringer questions are easy, the hardest kind are the laser jets because they are more complex than bubble or reg ink jets, just learn the steps in order, and what each step does, that way you can use logic on their questions.
