A question for you?

As I was driving into work today, I was contemplating this question and I am eager to hear your thoughts.

Is there anything absolute in our lives? If so, what is it?

Clearification on what type of absolute:

I mean absolute in the fact that it is always there. No matter where you go, what you do, this thing exists. No matter what group of people you come into contact with, this thing is absolute. Also no matter when in the course of time you take place, this thing is absolute.
I.E. it's true for all people, all places, at all times.

Hope and disappointment, malcontent and woe, the great tragedy of human suffering. Oh yeah and taxes.

But you still have to have gravity for the anti-gravity device to work 🙂

well if your gonna be like that we haven't yet proved that gravity is or is not there to begin with.

Do you mean absolute as in always there or absolute as in always the same?

gravity (for the most part) is always there, but almost never the same, unless you look down at a molecular / sub-molecular level.

LOL, you're killing me here Iceberg Slim... 🙂 So far the list of absolutes are:

1) If it has a beginning it has to have an end
2) Hope
3) Disappointment
4) Malcontent
5) Woe
6) Human suffering
7) Death
8) Taxes
9) Sun rising the next day
10) Gravity

Any others?

No matter when you order parts for your computer, they will be outdated by the time they arrive at your door.
